Fontaine Chambers is a New Haven native and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2016 with a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. She is a New Haven Promise Scholarship recipient from one of the first graduating classes. She received the New Haven Promise Legacy Award in 2016, which is awarded annually to recent graduates who have demonstrated a deep commitment to their studies. Upon graduating, she obtained a position with Travelers Insurance Company as a Claims Adjuster and has worked her way up to Market Analyst. Fontaine is passionate about mentorship. She believes it is pivotal to not only learn from individuals but to share that knowledge to others.
